This little rig is the work of Jim, KB5OB from Van Nuys, Ca and is a good example of neat workmanship in building and housing a tiny rig.

The rig is crystal controlled on 40m and can operate from a 9v battery, hence the name.

Many of these little transceivers have been made, especially in the US, with the famous Altoid Mints tins being hot favourites (and that's not only the mints") to house the rig.
